Meet Abby, a sweet and spirited high school senior with a passion for soccer that has been a part of her life since she was just three years old. As the goalkeeper and the captain of her soccer club, Abby embodies leadership and dedication, and we were honored to capture this in her senior pictures. Her senior portrait session took place in the picturesque settings of Downtown Raleigh and nearby St. Mary’s Chapel, on her school’s grounds. This girl-next-door style session beautifully captured Abby’s gentle self-confidence while showcasing her energetic personality.

The Portrait Session: Elegance, Charm and Athleticism
Abby’s senior portrait session was thoughtfully designed to reflect her unique character, passion for soccer and connection to her hometown. We began in Downtown Raleigh, where the plentiful murals gave an explosion of color and added a playful yet refined touch to the session. Abby’s natural beauty shone through as we highlighted her gentle confidence, capturing her essence in every frame with contrasting outfit choices that kept her as the focus of each image.
Next, we ventured to St. Mary’s Chapel, where the serene atmosphere complemented Abby’s sweet demeanor. This elegant setting provided a beautiful contrast to the bright urban environment of Downtown Raleigh, and allowing us to showcase her in a variety of stunning outfits that reflected her outgoing personality. The combination of her school’s architecture and Abby’s graceful presence helped to create a refined collection of senior pictures that her family will treasure with pride.
While Abby’s love for soccer has been central to her journey so far, our focus was to feature this throughout her senior pictures, without too many action-heavy shots, as Abby preferred. As the captain of her soccer club, Abby’s leadership and commitment to the sport were subtly highlighted through her poses and expressions on the soccer field, allowing her athleticism to shine without it overshadowing all of the other aspects of her personality.
We loved seeing Abby’s confidence on the soccer field, and she carried that confidence throughout the whole senior portrait session.
