Just as the summer was getting started, Collin F (Cary Academy, Class of 2017) approached us about his Cary senior picture. We were excited to work with him!
Cary Senior Picture: Collin F
At his planning meeting, we learned that Collin loves backpacking. He plays soccer for Cary Academy, and is energetic and funny. They discussed the location for his Cary senior picture session and chose the Raleigh warehouse district. It offers a combination of urban and natural areas, which was just what Collin was looking for.
There was rain on the original shoot date, so we re-scheduled for an early morning shoot about a week later. Collin’s dad came along for the shoot and loves photography – he and Teresa laughed about staged family pictures! Everyone was glad they had chosen an early morning time since it was so much cooler. Teresa LOVED his choice of blue shirts which really accentuated his blue eyes. Teresa was sure people would think she had made his eyes artificially blue – but no need for that!
Collin looked great for his Cary senior picture session in his jacket shirt and tie for the yearbook photos, and a couple of more casual shirts for more photos. He even laughed at Teresa’s corny jokes!
Collin and his mom were excited to return to the studio a few weeks later to view the ‘wall of Collin’… all of his proofs displayed on our gallery wall. They also enjoyed a brief slide show overview of the portraits. They picked the portraits for his yearbook, and also chose a desk-top acrylic block print. Teresa custom designed a ‘triptych’ (three prints matted together and float mounted in a custom frame). The full collection was so great that they also got the digital files so they can enjoy and share as much as they want with family and friends.
Collin has graduated and we wish him well!
