A few weeks before starting his senior year, Griffin C (Cary Academy Class of 2017) reached out to My Friend Teresa for his Cary senior portrait. Griffin knew Teresa well from Cary Academy and was sure she was the one to do his senior portraits! Teresa had also done senior portraits for Griffin’s good friend Eve.
Cary Senior Portrait Griffin C
Griffin and his mom came to the studio for a planning meeting in early August. Griffin has a passion for theater and fashion, and is on the swim team. His friends know him as funny, dramatic, and ambitious. Griffin’s home has special significance to him, and was the location of choice for his senior session. Teresa had heard stories of the ‘Chateau’, so she was thrilled to try something new!
Teresa arrived at Griffin’s home on a late August afternoon. After going to the neighbor’s house first (oops, wrong address!), she met up with Griffin. His home is beautiful and they took the required, traditional yearbook photos. And then … some fun! They channeled the “Kardashian Realness” for a very ‘vogue’ style shoot – perfect for Griffin’s personality. Teresa is typically very talkative during a shoot, but tried to be more quiet so that Griffin could concentrate (and not laugh at everything Teresa said!). The portraits really captured Griffin perfectly!
A few weeks later, Griffin and his mom returned to the studio for their selection appointment. They viewed a video collage of Griffin’s portraits and then viewed them on our gallery wall. They chose the portraits for yearbook. Griffin was thrilled with all of his portraits. He selected his favorite ten for full resolution digital files that he can print and enjoy as much as he wants.
After an awesome senior year, Griffin has graduated and is enjoying his next life adventure. We look forward to hearing the stories of his experiences and seeing his creative endeavors!
