Justin was preparing for his senior year (Cary Academy, Class of 2017) and reached out to My Friend Teresa Studios for his Cary senior portrait. Justin enjoys photography, had seen Teresa’s work and loved it!

Cary Senior Portrait:  Justin C

Teresa met with Justin to plan his Cary senior portrait session. She learned that he loves running and is captain of the cross-country team. He also enjoys photography and likes going on hiking expeditions to take photos. He is a deliberate, deep thinker and is ‘quietly exuberant’. He was seeking a natural, outdoors setting for his senior photos. Teresa recommended West Point on the Eno and they agreed on a date.

They met for the shoot on a cool early fall morning – perfect for a senior session! Justin started with a formal suit – and an awesome polka dot bow tie. After some formal shots, Justin changed into more casual clothes and was right at home near the river – he even helped Teresa identify a large bug (a cicada). Teresa thought it was a small mouse! Justin and his dad both enjoy photography, so they enjoyed talking ‘shop’ with Teresa.

Justin and his family came to the studio a few weeks later to see Justin’s Cary senior portraits.  They loved the mix of formal and casual.  Together they picked Justin’s yearbook photos, and also a group of favorites.  But they just couldn’t part with any of them, so they chose the entire digital collection of full resolution files so they can print and share as much as they want.  We retouched the files and put them together on a USB drive, with a folder for the favorites.  The USB was delivered in a small wooden box for safe keeping.

Justin has graduated and is surely ‘quietly exuberant’ in his college adventures.  Best of luck Justin – and keep taking photos!
