Szu-In L was eagerly looking forward to her senior year (Cary Academy Class of 2016). She contacted My Friend Teresa Studios in early July and planned her Cary Senior Portrait session.
Szu-In was looking for senior portraits that really represented her many interesting sides – music, books, basketball. She also wanted to some natural scenes with flowers and trees. Teresa recommended they use two locations to provide some variety. They agreed on Cary Academy and downtown Raleigh.
They met in late July for the shoot. The yellow wild flowers were blooming and made the perfect setting for Szu-In with her flute. Her black dress was a beautiful compliment to her dark hair. Szu-In was equally comfortable in her bright pink dress which was striking in the natural setting. To represent other sides of Szu-In’s personality, Teresa captured her with her basketball, and surrounded by books. The Cary Academy theater was the perfect dramatic setting for shots with the piano.
Szu-In and her family met with Teresa to view her portrait proofs. They chose her yearbook portrait. As a treasured keepsake, they chose their favorite portraits and asked Teresa to design a custom album. The resulting linen-covered 8X8 album was delivered to the family in time for the holidays so it could be shared with family and friends.
Szu-In graduated from Cary Academy in May 2016. She made plans to travel and attend college. Her passion is medicine and she wants to be a surgeon. Szu-In is independent and takes charge – whether it is finding a surgeon to shadow, arranging music to play with her siblings, or getting help with school. She loves a challenge and was very successful in her AP classes at Cary Academy. With her determination and hard work she will no doubt be successful! We look forward to watching her future develop.
