Introducing Alison
Meet Alison Haisty, a Green Hope High School senior with a creative heart, an adventurous spirit and a love for both cats and climbing. She knew what she wanted when it came to her senior portrait experience: senior pictures that authentic, meaningful, and captured who she is and what she loves.
We planned two unique portrait experiences to reflect the depth and variety of Alison’s personality. Starting with cozy small-town charm and ending with her athleticism, every setting was chosen with intentionality to represent Alison and tell her story.
Alison’s Senior Portrait Sessions: Cozy, Calm and Strong
Our first session began at the Cat Tales Cat Café in Chapel Hill. The soft light, warm colors, and curious cats gave the perfect backdrop for portraits that felt relaxed and real. Here, Alison’s gentle spirit and love for animals took center stage. She was glowing and completely in her element around her favorite animals. We captured Alison both in the cafe and on its stairwell, giving a variety of light and adding depth to these portraits.
Next, we walked over to the beautiful UNC Arboretum nearby, where Alison’s connection to nature came to life. The garden’s delicate blooms and greenery created a lush, and down-to-earth environment that gave a natural and relaxed feel to her session. The result was a set of portraits filled with texture, softness, and the beautiful flora that we have here in North Carolina.
We wrapped up the day at Jordan Lake, just as the sun dipped low over the water. The lakeside breeze and golden light gave Alison’s portraits a calm and serene feel. Her introspective side emerged with ease here, resulting in portraits that felt both peaceful and reflective, where she was connected to the beauty of the world around her.
A few weeks later, Alison returned for a second senior portrait session to honor another important part of her life: rock climbing. As a longtime climber with Triangle Rock Club in Morrisville, NC, she’s passionate about the sport, competitive, and determination to climb high. We captured her in action, and she posed effortlessly surrounded by ropes, chalk, and the towering walls that have helped shaped her strength. These senior portraits were dynamic, bold, and beautifully reflective of Alison’s resilience.

From the Cat Cafe in Chapel Hill to Rock Climbing in Morrisville and a stop at Jordan Lake in between, Alison’s senior portrait experience celebrated the things she loves and the best of the Triangle area of NC.
