When it came to finding just the right location for her session, we knew that Noelle’s home city of Raleigh would provide a beautiful diversity of backdrops. We began her senior portrait session in Downtown Raleigh, with the Warehouse District’s vibrant energy and captivating scenery, before heading over to take in the natural beauty of Dorothea Dix Park at sunset.
The Warehouse District added a urban edge to Noelle’s senior portraits, with captivating street art, industrial architecture, and a buzzing atmosphere. Then, in a striking contrast, Noelle dazzled in her formal ballgown against the backdrop of the Raleigh skyline amongst the trees at Dorothea Dix Park, at golden hour. This created a stunning visual, blending the traditional with the contemporary in a seamless and stylish manner; and doing so ensured that both Noelle and her mom’s visions were brought to life.
Whether among the park’s lush greenery and rolling fields or posing with an abandoned staircase in the city, Noelle’s was at ease. We captured her candid moments throughout and the beauty of her hometown’s surroundings highlighted her down-to-earth spirit.
