Kai’s mom wanted keepsake portraits of his senior year that captured who he is. She had some great guys senior picture ideas.

Teresa met with Kai and his mom to hear their guys senior picture ideas. She learned that Kai is very interested in bio-engineering with a focus on natural resources and conservation. He also loves robotics and golf. His friends say he is quiet, funny, and has a strong work ethic. Kai loves school and science, spending much of his time doing research and playing golf.
With these guys senior picture ideas in mind, Teresa got special permission to photograph Kai in the science lab at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh. This was a special place for Kai and he looked right at home in his lab coat peering into the microscope.
To capture Kai’s love of golf, Teresa recommended the Dorothea Dix campus with it rolling hills and unobstructed view of the Raleigh skyline. She suggested Kai bring his golf clubs. The session was in mid-November, so the trees had some fall color leaves and the afternoon sunlight was perfect! Teresa also captured a few sweet moments with Kai and his little sister.
Kai and his mom returned to the studio to enjoy a video presentation of Kai’s session. They loved it! The portraits on the gallery wall helped them sort to find their favorites. With 20-30 favorites, a keepsake linen album was the perfect choice. Teresa custom designed the album and delivered it to the family a few weeks later. They also chose the full digital file collection.
Kai showed his slideshow video at his graduation party. He is now studying at A&T where he is pursuing his love of science. And probably still has time for some golf and hugs with his little sister and mom!
