Emma was just starting her senior year at Green Hope High School (Class of 2017) and contacted us for her high school senior portraits.  Her sister, Fiona, had a high school senior portrait session with us, and we were thrilled to work with Emma too!

High School Senior:  Emma F

We met with Emma and her mom in mid October.  We learned that Emma is a history buff and loves to read.  She also enjoys contemporary dance, tennis, and hanging out with friends at her house, or going to a movie.  She volunteers at the Dorcas shop and also works at a local grocery store.  Her mom describes her as cute, funny, and beautiful.  She likes to dress casually in dresses and denim.

She and Teresa agreed that the JC Raulston Arboretum would be the perfect spot for her high school senior session.  They met there on a cool October day…during the NC State Fair.  Traffic was a little crazy, but the arboretum was quiet and beautiful. Emma work a cute blue dress, but got cold quickly, so it wasn’t long before she changed into her jeans.  She and Teresa laughed and talked about family and Emma’s job.  There was also some light teasing about her love life!  Emma found some red flowers that she especially liked and Teresa incorporated them into one of her portraits.

A few weeks later, Emma and her mom returned to the studio to view a brief slideshow of Emma’s portraits.  They were also able to see them as matted proofs on the gallery wall so they could move them around and pick their favorites.  They chose 5 favorites for some prints, and also 1 for a full resolution digital file.

Emma loved her experience with us and we had a great time working with her!
