Cat was looking forward to her senior year (Cary Academy, Class of 2017). She reached out to Teresa to get the process started for her senior picture Cary.

Senior Picture Cary: Cat C

Cat came to the studio in mid-summer to meet with Teresa.  At the planning meeting, Teresa learned that Cat loves art – especially painting, drawing, and sketching. She is also an expert Photoshop user, and often helps her classmates with their photo projects. For her senior portraits she wanted a very natural setting, with some colorful flowers. Teresa recommended Raulston arboretum for its wide variety of backgrounds, colors, textures, and lighting.

On the originally planned date, Cat was not feeling well, so Teresa gladly rescheduled. They met in early September for the shoot. Mom was on hand to fix stray hairs, with help from assistant, Olivia. Cat was nervous at the beginning of the shoot, but was much more comfortable as they went along.   She was striking in a red dress —- which everyone agreed was her color! Cat was working on a drawing for her senior page – a sketch of everyone in her class. Teresa captured her drawing in some of the photos.

A few weeks later, Cat and her mom came to the studio to view the portraits on our gallery walls.  They easily chose Cat’s two portraits for the yearbook.  They worked with Teresa to custom design a grouping of 3 canvases for their home to capture this milestone time.  All of the portraits were hard to part with, so they chose to purchase the full digital collection so they could keep and enjoy them forever!

Cat has graduated and started her college career.  She has maintained her interest in photo editing, and often helps Teresa with tricky edits.  Best wishes for an awesome future, Cat!
