In mid June, with summer in full swing, Natalie D (Cary Academy Class of 2017) contacted us about her senior picture Cary. We met with her and mom, Donna, and learned more about what she was looking for.
Senior Picture Cary: Natalie D
Natalie is a competitive dancer and has been dancing since she was 4. She loves the Cary Academy performing arts program. She was seeking portraits that were not too posed or forced, that were authentic and true to her personality. She also loves wild flowers. Beautiful senior picture Cary ideas!
Teresa met Natalie in late July at Camden Park. This spot near Fearington Village offers a beautiful natural setting with a small waterfall, a creek, a wooden bridge, and beautiful wildflowers. Natalie looked right at home in the natural setting with her bright blue top and jeans. Then she changed into a lacey white top which was perfect for some wildflower shots. Teresa even got a quick shot with mom! For the last part of her shoot, Natalie put on her black dance outfit and was gorgeous dancing across the green field, hands stretched beautifully to the sky! The portraits truly captured her life-long love of dance.
Teresa selected over 50 portraits from the session to show Natalie and her mom a few weeks later. With guidance from Teresa, Natalie chose her yearbook photos. Teresa submitted these on her behalf tot he Cary Academy yearbook staff.
Natalie and her mom also used the studio gallery wall to sort the portraits into their favorites and some ‘maybes’. From these 20-30, Teresa custom designed a beautiful keepsake linen album. Natalie and her mom approved the design and we delivered it to them a few weeks later.
They also chose 3 small square archive quality prints. Teresa loved the square format to really show off Natalie’s portraits.
Natalie graduated in Spring, 2017 and is certainly dancing her way gracefully through her next life adventure.
