Aesha D (Cary Academy Class of 2018) contacted us about her senior pictures in mid-July, and when we met with her and mom, Falguni, we learned she loves Spanish, science, and animals and is a skilled tennis player, having started at age eight. A natural on stage, Aesha has been singing since she was four, playing piano since she was five, and recently began to pick up guitar. Aesha’s personality is bright and positive, and we wanted to incorporate her vibe into a flowy and floral-filled senior picture session.
Senior Pictures Cary: Aesha D 2018
We had to reschedule a few times because of rain, but we stuck with it, and in mid-August, we met Aesha in downtown Cary. We got some amazing senior pictures of her in a beautiful v-neck, high-low, floral dress. After more rainy days, we met again at the JC Raulston Arboretum in late August for the second part of the senior picture session. Aesha looked gorgeous in both a white top and blue jeans and a blue and salmon, floral, maxi dress amongst the flowers and stone.
Teresa selected over 50 senior pictures from the session to show Aesha and her parents a few weeks later. With guidance from Teresa, Aesha chose her yearbook photos, which Teresa submitted to the Cary Academy yearbook staff on her behalf. Aesha and her parents also used the studio gallery wall to sort the senior pictures into their favorites and some “maybes”. From these selections, they chose to order five 8×12 prints.
Aesha graduated in May 2018 and is headed to Tufts University, where she plans on pursuing a pre-vet track and will be shadowing in multiple veterinary hospitals and zoos. She is also interested in studying psychology and wants to join an acapella club to continue her love of singing.
