In late July, Harrison T (Cary Academy Class of 2018) and his mom, Liisa, met with us to talk about about his senior picture session. In school, Harrison enjoyed Chinese, history, and chorus. Outside of school, Harrison has spent much of his life on a baseball field, having played from the age of five up through high school. In his free time, Harrison likes to spend time outdoors as well as going to the beach with his friends. For his senior pictures, Harrison wanted to have a slightly casual vibe with touches of athletic and vintage flairs.

Senior Pictures Cary: Harrison T 2018

To add to the vintage flair, we were lucky to work with another client’s friend who owned a cherry red and fully restored 1964 Chevy Impala Coupe and allowed us to use it for Harrison’s senior picture session. Teresa and Harrison met at the owner’s house in early September. He looked very sharp in his tan suit with a white button down and a red tie to match the color of the car. From there, we transitioned to downtown Apex for some casual senior pictures. Harrison wore khaki shorts and three short-sleeved button downs: a white one with birds, a Hawaiian themed one, and a light blue one with white dots. Each of the outfits looked amazing against a variety of colorful bricks. We finished the senior picture session at the Cary Academy baseball field. Luckily, Harrison’s dad is one of the coaches for the varsity team, so we were able to get all of the lights up as the sun began to set. Dressed in his full uniform, we were able to get some senior pictures of Harrison pitching, diving, and sliding as well as some in the dugout.

Teresa selected over 50 senior pictures from the session to show Harrison and his parents a few weeks later. With guidance from Teresa, Harrison chose his yearbook photos, which Teresa submitted to the Cary Academy yearbook staff on his behalf. Harrison and his parents loved all of the senior pictures so much, they ordered the full collection of digital files and the video to have the senior pictures on hand to look back on in the future.

Harrison graduated in May 2018 and is headed to North Carolina State University.
