In mid-summer before her senior year, Meghan C (Cary Academy, Class of 2017) reached out to us about senior pictures ideas. She was excited to with Teresa and wanted to be sure to get on the schedule before it was too late!
Senior Pictures Ideas Meghan C
Meghan and her mom met with Teresa to plan her senior pictures ideas. Teresa learned that Meghan is heavily into film production and currently working on her third film ( a quirky comedy). Meghan is also in training for a half marathon, and loves dogs and Disney! For her senior portraits she was hoping for a natural environment, but also an urban vibe. Together they chose Durham’s American Tobacco campus as the perfect setting. They had some great senior pictures ideas to reflect the many sides of Meghan’s personality.
Teresa met Meghan in early August for her session. Meghan had recently started wearing glasses and wasn’t sure if she should wear them for her portraits – so they did some with and without. Meghan was adorable, but felt a little weird about getting compliments from Teresa. In no time Teresa had her laughing and smiling. She was right at home in the hip urban setting — especially in front of the Full Frame Theater. She was only a few days away from filming her own new film!
When Meghan and her mom came to the studio to view the portraits, they were moved to tears by how perfect they were. They sorted through them and chose Meghan’s yearbook portraits. Teresa worked with them to design a beautiful linen album as a milestone keepsake. They also chose a stunning canvas for their home, some mini-accordion books, and a curved metal print as a desk display.
A few weeks later, we visited their home to professionally install the canvas and deliver the album and other items. It was wonderful to see the tangible results of the senior pictures ideas they had in the beginning.
Meghan has graduated and has started the next chapter of her life – no doubt continuing to capture wonderful ideas on film.
