Emma E (Class of 2016, Cary Academy) was ready for the start of her senior year and her Senior Portrait Cary session. She worked with Teresa at Cary Academy Summer Programs so of course she contacted My Friend Teresa Studios. We were excited to schedule her session for milestone photography.
Senior Portrait Cary Photographer Teresa Porter
Emma was seeking an urban but comfortable setting for her Senior Portrait Cary session. As we got to know Emma better, we realized that this was the perfect description of her personality – urban but comfortable! She has lived in many unique places – Brazil, London, Minnesota, and Raleigh. Teresa recommended the Raleigh Warehouse district for her senior portraits and they set a date to meet.
The warehouse district is unique for its varied colors and textures, and combination of rough warehouses and natural areas. The brightly colored urban walls were the perfect compliment to Emma’s bright pink dress and blue top. One of our favorite shots is in front of a yellow door – it just radiates warmth and life. Teresa had Emma laughing in no time and the results will make you smile too! Emma’s smile and blue eyes are infectious!
Emma and her family had over 40 proof prints to review and select from. Emma chose her yearbook photo first. Then they had such a hard time selecting a few favorites that they decided to invest in the full digital collection. The files are full resolution and come with print rights so they could share as much as they wanted with family and friends around the world. Finally, they had Teresa design a set of custom graduation cards for Emma. A month or two before graduation, Emma and her parents chose their favorite template from a wide range of options, and Teresa custom designed and printed cards to announce Emma’s graduation.
Emma has graduated from Cary Academy and is on to her next big adventure!
