As her junior year was ending, Grace W reached out to us for Senior Portraits Cary. We have worked with Grace’s family before (see sisters Emma and Fiona) and were thrilled to develop great senior picture ideas.
Senior Portraits Cary: Vintage, Rustic, Urban
In late May, Grace and her mom came to the studio to meet Teresa and plan her Senior Portraits Cary session. During the meeting Teresa reviewed senior pictures prices and products, and shared her senior picture tips. We learned that Grace loves English and History, and participates in debate. She also plays piano and sings, and loves Broadway shows.
For her Senior Portraits Cary session, Grace wanted a vintage and rustic look with a simple urban vibe. We loved that idea and got busy with a custom itinerary for her session.
A few days before the session, we went to Grace’s home to help her select senior pictures outfits, and finalize our plans. Grace admitted to being a bit nervous, even though she loves taking pictures with her best friend.
On a warm evening in mid-July, Teresa and the team met Grace in the downtown Raleigh warehouse district. Even though Grace was nervous, Teresa had her laughing in no time! Everyone fell in love with the spot by the staircase and the new colorful mural in downtown Raleigh. One of our favorite spots was the yellow steps….the perfect compliment to her yellow shirt.
A few weeks later, Grace and her mom came to the studio to view over 60 proof prints of her Senior Portraits Cary session. With Teresa’s guidance, Grace chose her yearbook portraits. And together with her mom, they chose a set of 15 prints to mat and display in a beautiful folio box with easel.
Grace has graduated (Cary Academy Class of 2019) and is moving on to her next adventure with a song in her heart and a dance step or two. What an awesome Senior Portraits Cary experience!
