Hannah G, Class of 2020, took advantage of our early booking savings and got a start on her Senior Portraits Cary session in February of her Junior year. This gave her the best choice of session dates for the summer to meet senior yearbook deadlines.
Senior Portraits Cary: Wildflowers and a Secret Sunset
We met Hannah and her family early in the spring of her junior year. We learned Hannah loves to run outdoors, especially with cool clouds and sunsets. In school, she is most interested in Biology and loves to read. She is a good listener, happy, and always willing to help a friend. During her freshman year, she broke her leg at a track meet and learned how strong and resilient she really is.
For her senior portraits Cary, she wanted to include a natural setting, with some urban touches. She definitely wanted to include some portraits with her running since this is such an important part of her life. We got busy planning the perfect session!
Hannah started her June senior portrait Cary session with hair and make-up services at our studio by Denise. We then met her and her family at Coker Arboretum on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. We loved having her whole family with us! We took advantage of some white wildflowers for a touch of nature.
The campus is perfect for a combination of urban and nature, and Hannah was beautiful in her bright orange top against some white brick.
Another stop provided a painted rustic red brick wall…the perfect backdrop for Hannah in her black top.
And then on to our ‘secret’ nearby location where Teresa got amazing portraits of Hannah running at sunset.
And Justin captured it all in this amazing behind-the-scenes video:
Hannah and her family returned to the studio a few weeks later to view the portraits and video. Hannah chose her yearbook portraits, which we submitted for her. Teresa helped them select several pieces of wall art, and some desk-top acrylic block prints. There were so many favorites…but they were able to choose 10 for a collection of digital files.
The sun has set on Hannah’s senior year, and she is no doubt running on to her next adventure!
