In early June, Hope F (Cary Academy Class of 2018) contacted us about her senior pictures. We met with her and mom, Jennifer, and learned more about what she was looking for.

Senior Portraits Cary: Hope F 2018

Hope is a quiet and studious leader and is well versed in the humanities. She is an avid reader with an affinity towards Jane Austen’s novels and loves to write, having written for Cary Academy’s school newspaper – The Campitor – frequently. Hope also played the cello in the school’s orchestra and has played piano since she was six-years-old. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends and watch The Office or Parks and Recreation.

Teresa met Hope in late June for her senior portraits at Fred Fletcher Park. She looked gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder black dress and black sandals that contrasted well with the natural background and emphasized her blue eyes. Then she donned a cream colored dress with a blue and gold paisley pattern, which was perfect with the yellow flowers in the park. Lastly, Hope wore a blue and white cropped button-down, blue jeans, and white sneakers for some more casual portraits on the porch of the old house in Fletcher Park.

Teresa selected over 50 portraits from the session to show Hope and her parents a few weeks later. With guidance from Teresa, Hope chose her yearbook photos, which Teresa submitted to the Cary Academy yearbook staff on her behalf. Hope and her parents also used the studio gallery wall to sort the portraits into their favorites and some “maybes”. From these selections, they chose a 12×12 unframed canvas and a 12×12 leather album. Additionally, they ordered the digital files to have all of the portraits on hand to look back on in the future.

Hope graduated in May 2018 and is headed to Wellesley College in the fall.
