Lindsey L had seen our work and knew she wanted us to do her high school senior photos. She reached out to us in January of her junior year as soon as our books opened for the Class of 2019 Senior Portraits Cary. We were excited to meet with her and get started!
Senior Portraits Cary: City Colors, Books and Waterfalls
When we met with Lindsey to plan her session, we learned she loves theater, music, movies and video games! She runs to relax and has a wide group of friends with similar interests. For her high school senior photos she wanted a colorful ‘girl in the city’ vibe. She also wanted to use one of her favorite spots – an eclectic bookstore. Lindsey was excited to get started and took advantage of early booking savings to reserve one of our fusion sessions. Our creative team had so many wonderful ideas that we scheduled two photo sessions with Lindsey to capture it all.
A few weeks before her first photo session, we met with Lindsey at her home to ‘shop her closet’ for the perfect outfits for her sessions, and refined our session itinerary to that it was just exactly what she wanted.
We met Linsdey at one of our favorite colorful murals in downtown Raleigh to start off the ‘girl in the city’ part of her session. Lindsey looked right at home in her casual outfit strolling the city streets. Even city girls have to work, so Lindsey changed into a more formal outfit for some ‘urban professional’ high school senior photos on a rooftop overlooking the city.
Lindsey was able to arrange access for us to do some of her high school senior photos at her favorite bookstore where she has spent many an hour. The colorful books and eclectic vibe were perfect. And then our creative team outdid themselves with an additional session on our ‘wet set’ with waterfall and floating colorful flowers.
Check out the behind-the-scenes video of Lindsey’s session, and some examples of her high school senior photos:
Lindsey and her family were excited to return to our studio a few weeks later to view her video, a slideshow of her portraits, and to see all 130+ (a record!) of her portraits revealed on our gallery wall. They choose yearbook portraits and their favorite 10 for digital files.
Lindsey has graduated and is off to adventures beyond high school. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
