Maggie H (Cary Academy Class of 2018) and her mom, Dorothea, contacted us in mid October about her senior portraits after her senior portrait session fell through at the last minute, and we were super lucky to have an open spot for her. Maggie is laid back and casual and has a love for nature. With the beautiful trees of fall already here, we knew an urban and green senior portrait session would be perfect for Maggie.
Senior Portraits Cary: Maggie H 2018
In late October, Teresa met Maggie for her senior portraits in Durham where she looked gorgeous against the brick and ivy in a long-sleeved, dark yellow, floral dress. Maggie then changed into a white tank top, dark blue jeans, and tall brown boots. When she opened the trunk of her car, she showed us that she had a scooter, a skateboard, roller blades, a pogo stick, and so much more. We found a local high school that allowed seniors to decorate their parking spots and were able to get some awesome senior portraits in that lot. We finished out the senior portrait session at the Eno River where Maggie wore a red v-neck, jean shorts, and Chacos. She looked in her element in her in the trees, against the kayaks, and on top of her iconic orange Honda.
Teresa selected over 50 portraits from the session to show Maggie and her parents a few weeks later. With guidance from Teresa, Maggie chose her yearbook photos, which Teresa submitted to the Cary Academy yearbook staff on her behalf. Maggie and her parents had so many favorite senior portraits on the studio gallery wall that they ordered the digital files to have all of the portraits and video on hand to look back on in the future as well as some prints.
Maggie graduated in May 2018 and is headed to University of Chicago.
