In late May, Olivia W (Apex Friendship Class of 2018) contacted us about her senior portraits. We met with her and mom, Lisa, and learned more about what she was looking for. Olivia has a fun, laid-back, and outgoing personality and is always up for an adventure. An animal lover at heart, Olivia is the proud owner of a puppy named Finn, a barn cat named Tiger, and a horse named Douglas. She and Douglas compete in equestrian competitions including dressage, jumping, and cross country.

Senior Portraits Cary: Olivia W 2018

Teresa met Olivia in mid-September at Yates Mill. At one point, Justin slipped, and the video equipment wound up n the water, but the team pushed through. Dressed in a deep blue, v-neck romper with long sheer sleeves, she stunned in the natural background. Then she wore a long sleeved white top with a criss-cross neck and blue jeans. Leaning against faded wood, Olivia’s bright blue eyes popped. For the second part of Olivia’s senior portrait session, we met at her house for some portraits with Douglas. In a light red cold-shoulder top and ripped blue jeans, Olivia’s love for her horse is noticeable. We were able to get some amazing silhouette-esque portraits with the evening sky in the background. Olivia changed her top to a white tank for some gorgeous portraits in the fields and of her riding bareback.

Teresa selected over 50 portraits from the session to show Olivia and her parents a few weeks later. Olivia and her parents also used the studio gallery wall to sort the portraits into their favorites and some “maybes”. From these selections, they ordered ten digital files to look back on in the future.

Olivia graduated in June 2018 and is headed to University of Kentucky in Lexington, where she plans on going into the school of nursing.
