As she was wrapping up her junior year, Sara M planned her Cary Senior Portrait session with us. It was her first big ‘thing’ for her senior year (Cary Academy, Class of 2021).
Senior Portraits Cary: Simple and Stunning
We met with Sara and her mom to plan her Senior Portraits Cary. We learned that Sara loves art (ceramics in particular), archery, and reading. She is known among her friends as an artist and a planner. Her Mom said she can draw almost anything!
For her senior portrait session, Sara wanted a combination of a studio session, and an outdoor session with a simple vibe. We scheduled her session for the summer just before school started.
Our creative team got started planning a session that captured Sara’s interests. We also met with Sara to help her select her outfits for the session. One less thing to think about!
On her session date, we met Sara at our studio in downtown Cary, which we had specifically staged with lights for dramatic portraits. She reminded us of Twiggy!
We then travelled to the NC Museum of Art for some simple and natural portraits.
Then it was on to downtown Raleigh for some striking portraits.
Check out the behind-the-scenes video of Sara’s session:
Sara and her family returned to the studio a few weeks later to watch the behind-the-scenes video and a slideshow of all her portraits. Sara chose her yearbook images. The family loved the flexibility of digital files and chose their 10 favorites to keep.
We loved working with Sara and her family for this awesome Senior Portraits Cary experience.
