Sophia F, Cary Academy Class of 2016, was ready to start her senior year. With an eye towards developing her design portfolio, she wanted the best senior portraits Cary. Her brother, Alec, loved his senior portraits by My Friend Teresa Studios, so there was no question that Sophia also wanted Teresa to take her senior portraits.
Best Senior Portraits Cary
Sophia shared with Teresa that she has a strong sense of style and is really passionate about everything she does. Her post-high school plans include a major in business and fashion. Her senior portraits were one of the highlights of her senior year and the sessions were a chance for this prospective fashion student to model in her own ‘catalogue’ With this in mind, Teresa and Sophia planned three different locations for the portraits to capture a wide range of looks and styles.
They went to the rolling pastures of Fearrington and nearby Camden Park for some outdoors, natural scenery for one of the sessions. Sophia was right at home whether it was leaning on the white picket fence, standing in a field of wild flowers, or sitting on a rock near the brook.
For a different look, Teresa and Sophia went to downtown Raleigh for some more urban shots. The blue Raleigh mural, a bright yellow doorway, and an urban park were the perfect settings.
For the third session, Sophia made all of her own clothes. Sophia worked as a docent at the Contemporary Art Museum, so they were able to get into the museum for some special shots. Sophia’s red and white dress was stunning and an amazing representation of her sense of structure, organization, and symmetry.
Sophia and her family were thrilled with the resulting portraits. With so many choices, they decided to purchase the full set of digital files. It was also very important to them to have a tangible way to view Sophia’s portraits, so they ask Teresa to design a custom senior album. It is a beautiful representation of Sophia’s amazing talent.
Sophia used her portraits in her college application design portfolio and was thrilled to be accepted to her first choice, Cornell! With Sophia’s ability to balance her academic life with her creative endeavors, she will no doubt be successful. We can’t wait to see what beautiful designs result!
