Will A. was near the end of his junior year when he received information about senior portraits from his school (Cary Academy, Class of 2020).  He reached out to us and we were excited to get to know this talented senior.

Senior Portraits Cary:  A Puppy and A Piano

Will A. and his mom met with us to learn about senior portraits Cary with My Friend Teresa Studios.  The first order of business was for Teresa to get to know Will so she could customize a senior portraits Cary session just for him.

Will is active in debate competitions and travels a lot.  He has been playing the piano for over 10 years and is passionate about it…especially chamber music.  When we met, he had just gotten a new puppy, Leo.

For his senior portraits Cary, he wanted an urban clean vibe, and definitely wanted to include the piano, and possibly his puppy.

We met Will at his home for some adorable portraits with his new puppy, Leo.  When Teresa and the team first arrived, they didn’t want to ring the doorbell because Will was playing the piano and it was beautiful!

After that, we went to downtown Raleigh for some urban scenes.  Will’s dad came along, and we got a funny picture of them at ‘Father and Son’ antiques.  Will looked very cool in his jacket despite the heat – even at the end of the session in the parking garage.

We were fortunate enough to arrange access to a grand piano at the Cary Arts Center.  Will’s music filled the whole room and was breathtaking.  It was hard not to burst into applause!  The lighting was perfect for some dramatic portraits.Senior Portraits Cary

Will and his family returned to our studio a few weeks later.  They loved everything!  Mom chose a mounted print, a keepsake leather album, and a digital file.  Will selected his yearbook photos and we submitted on his behalf.

We loved meeting Will and capturing part of his memorable senior year!
