Zoey was excited for the first days of her senior year (Cary Academy Class of 2021) and realized the yearbook portrait deadline was fast approaching! She really wanted an amazing senior portraits Cary experience. Based on recommendations from her friends, her mom reached out to us to meet soon to plan her Senior Portraits Cary session and meet the school yearbook deadline.
Senior Portraits Cary: New adventures in downtown Cary
We met with Zoey and her family to plan her Senior Portraits Cary. We learned that Zoey loves being outdoors and often hikes with her family. She is a leader among her friends and is known as the adventurous one! She is active on the debate team and plays lacrosse.
Our creative team got started planning a fun yet safe (during a pandemic!) session that captured Zoey’s spirit and gave her the amazing experience she was seeking. We met with Zoey virtually to help her select outfits for her session, and she scheduled make-up and hair services with our resident artist, Denise.
On her session date, Zoey had a private session at our studio with make-up artist, Denise. Then it was out and about downtown Cary where we discovered new favorite places in our own backyard! By the end of it there wasn’t a hidden alley, back staircase, flower bush or mural that we hadn’t explored. Every place we photographed was completely new to us. Laying in the lavender might have given Zoey the ‘itches’, but it was worth it!
Check out the behind-the-scenes video of Zoey’s session:
Zoey and her family returned to the studio a few weeks later to watch the behind-the-scenes video and a slideshow of all her portraits. Zoey chose her yearbook images. The family loved the flexibility of digital files and chose their 10 favorites to keep.
We loved Zoey’s session!
