In the early fall of his senior year, the yearbook deadline was quickly approaching. Izhan A and his family wanted to capture amazing senior portraits. The urban landscape of downtown Raleigh was the perfect setting. They met there on a cool day. Teresa Porter quickly had Izhan at ease – laughing and showing off his style. Who would think that under that bright blue dress shirt was a Superhero T shirt! They walked through the Raleigh warehouse district to favorite spots that Teresa Porter felt captured Izhan A’s personality. An hour or so later, and with cheeks hurting from the laughter, the camera was full of awesome senior portraits featuring that broad smile.
Izhan and his family met with Teresa Porter a few weeks later. They reviewed options for portrait products. There were over 50 amazing portrait proofs to choose from. Teresa Porter helped them sort through the proofs. She offered advice on the available options. They could choose from accordion books, a custom album, a wall canvas, a framed collage….and more. In the end, they decided to purchase the entire digital collection. They now own the full resolution digital files of all of Izhan A.’s senior portraits. The files come with unlimited print rights. Teresa Porter also provided recommendations for professional print labs.
Izhan A.’s portrait featuring his Superhero T shirt has become a favorite of Teresa Porter of My Friend Teresa Studios. She has used it often as an example of truly capturing her client’s personality. It has a permanent home on the 8 foot gallery wall in the studio!
Izhan graduated from Cary Academy in May, 2016. He is off to new adventures. We are sure his superhero smile will take him far!
