Senior pictures serve as a meaningful tribute for your senior’s transition and personal story. When searching for the best photographer for senior pictures, it’s important to find someone who can capture your senior’s unique style and personality. We are honored to share this dynamic senior portrait session with Luca Multari, set against the vibrant urban backdrop of downtown Durham, North Carolina.

Whether playing sports or cruising around town, Luca’s smile and relaxed approach is evident throughout.
Introducing Luca
Luca Multari is a high school senior with an electric sense of style, a passion for sport and a love of luxury cars. For his senior portrait session, Luca wanted to highlight his dedication to sport, the urban aesthetics of the place he calls home and his beloved car. The bustling streets of Durham, North Carolina with their modern architecture provided the perfect setting to capture these elements and showcase Luca’s unique style.
The Portrait Session: Urban Cool Meets Classic Style
Downtown Durham’s lively urban environment was the ideal backdrop for Luca’s senior portraits. We began the session with Luca proudly showcasing his car, a symbol of his personal style and love for classic vehicles. The contrast between the sleek lines of the car and the gritty, built-up streets of downtown Durham created a visually striking combination that perfectly captured Luca’s cool, confident persona.
We incorporated a variety of urban elements into the shoot, from brick walls to eye-catching skyscrapers, as well as elements of Luca’s favorite sports that he plays. Luca can be found on the lacrosse field, dominating the hockey rink, excelling in varsity soccer for Cary Academy, or pushing his limits in the weight lifting gym. His dedication to a diverse range of sports highlights his versatile athleticism and we knew that we had to showcase this in his senior portrait session. We chose each location to enhance Luca’s style and interests, creating a series of images that were dynamic and visually told Luca’s story. Luca’s car took center stage in several shots, highlighting its sleek design, complemented by the modern landscape of Durham.
The session also featured several candid shots of Luca amid the city environment, adding not only a sense of authenticity and energy to the portraits, but revealing aspects of his personality at the same time. Whether leaning casually against his car or strolling through the city streets, Luca’s confidence, individuality and warm smile shone through in every frame.
