In mid-June, just as summer began, Kate H (Cary Academy Class of 2018) contacted us about her senior pictures. We met with her and mom, Amy, and learned more about what she was looking for.
Senior Pictures Cary: Kate H 2018
Kate is passionate about volleyball, playing year-round through school and club sports. She also loves forensic science and psychology and owns tons of books about those topics and criminal profiles. Kate wanted her senior pictures to have a chill and nature-meets-urban vibe and hoped for her personality to shine through.
Teresa and Kate met up for her senior picture session in downtown Durham where Kate shone in an army green t-shirt dress with a laced up neckline. The color looked gorgeous with her blonde hair against the background of cement and greenery. Then Kate changed into a pair of ripped up blue jeans, white top, and plum jacket, which looked amazing in both downtown Durham and at the second location, the Eno River. Finally, Kate wore blue and white chevron shorts, a white top, and a jean jacket to finish off the session at the Eno River.
Teresa selected over 50 portraits from the senior picture session to show Kate and her mom a few weeks later. With guidance from Teresa, Kate chose her yearbook photos, which Teresa submitted to the Cary Academy yearbook staff on her behalf. Kate and her mom also used the studio gallery wall to pick their favorites from all of the senior pictures, which they then ordered digital files for to have the senior pictures on hand to look back on in the future.
Kate graduated in May 2018 and is headed to University of Southern California in the fall, where she plans on studying international relations and global business.
